The Shift project by the International Center for Leadership Development Nigeria is an project specially focused on Internet Safety Awareness and Anti-CyberCrime Advocacy. Over the last two years, we have partnered with a good arrary of organisation and Nigerian Government agencies to increase internet safety awareness in schools and also create a strong advocacy against Cybercrime ( popularly called Yahoo-Yahoo in Nigeria) in our secondary schools. Under the Shift project, we also work as the local planning committee in Nigeria for the global celebration of Safer Internet Day.
So far in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Education and Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, we have held trainings for more than 3000 students from more than 12 Public schools in Lagos State. Our Partners include :
